Susan Haarman, PhD

Susan Haarman, PhD, is Director of Campus Partnerships at Interfaith America, promoting religious and civic pluralism and active citizenship across all aspects of university life. She previously worked in higher education for over 20 years. She publishes on the work of John Dewey and the capacity of tabletop role-playing games as formative tools for civic identity and imagination.

She is also a licensed therapist and a professional GM for Wizard Staffing. She ran a three-year campaign that took inspiration from the history of Chicago, which is always more fantastical than fiction. If you ever need a game recommendation, she's got you covered.
