Will my membership automatically renew?

Yes. Memberships auto-renew each year on your original join date, so there's no need to re-sign-up manually. You'll get a reminder beforehand, and you can manage or cancel your renewal anytime through JoinIt.
What if I can't afford the membership fee?

Cost should never be the reason someone can't be part of this community. We offer a limited number of memberships at a reduced rate. Email us at contact@chicagotga.org to learn more.
Is there a code of conduct?
Yes, all members agree to CTGA's Code of Conduct as part of signing up. CTGA reserves the right to revoke membership at any time for violations, without reimbursement of fees.

Can I run for the CTGA board?
Yes. Board elections are open to the whole community, not just paid members, and happen biannually. Membership isn't required to run.

Do I need to be in the Discord to access member benefits?

Some member perks, like the members-only channel and special name color, live inside the CTGA Discord. If you're a paid member, make sure you've joined the Discord too so you don't miss out.
How do I manage or renew my membership?
