Hello, Gen Con Enthusiasts!
The Chicago Tabletop Gaming Association is coordinating a charter bus to bring tabletop gaming enthusiasts from Chicago to Indianapolis in time for Gen Con 2026! If you are interested in occupying a seat on the bus, please review the details below and confirm your spot by submitting the form by June 26th!

On Wednesday July 29th, get to the Merchandise Mart by 6:30pm to load onto the bus.
On Sunday August 2nd, get to the Indiana Convention Center by 4:30pm to load onto the bus to return home!

What's the cost?
Currently, we're expecting the cost per passenger to be between $150-170 total—if we have a lot of interest, the price will be closer (or perhaps a bit lower) than $150 per passenger (so, tell your friends!) Payments must be made through PayPal. Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably possible if we do not have enough passengers by June 22nd, refunds will not be processed for passenger cancellations or if you miss the bus.
Does submitting this form guarantee a ride down to Gen Con?
After you fill out the form, you will need to pay us to reserve your seat. If we do not get enough interest (20 people) by June 22nd, we will not be able to fund this program, however. Any funds collected up to that point will be returned to passengers. If you fill out this form, and we get 20 or more participants, and you submit your payment, you will have a seat reserved for you on the bus!
What's the itinerary?
Please ensure you arrive at our designated pick-up locations on time to ensure we are not charged overtime for late departures and do not accidentally leave without you!
Departure: Chicago to Indianapolis
Pickup Date: Wednesday, July 29th, 6:30pm—the bus will depart at 7:00pm
Pickup Location*: Merchandise Mart 222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago, IL
Drop-off Location: Indiana Convention Center 100 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN
Estimated arrival: 11:30 PM in Indianapolis
Return: Indianapolis to Chicago
Pickup Date: Sunday, August 2nd, 4:30pm—the bus will depart at 5:00pm
Pickup Location*: Indiana Convention Center 100 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN
Drop-off Location: Merchandise Mart 222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago, IL
Estimated arrival: 9:30 PM in Chicago
*Please note—participants will be contacted via Discord with specific pick-up location details at the address provided on the day of pick-up—you will be asked to provide your Discord handle below and CTGA will add you to a private channel for bus participants.

Will we be making any stops before reaching Indianapolis?
Currently, there are no plans to stop, as we have a bathroom on board.
Who is the operating bus company?
We're working with CharterUP (who is giving us a great deal since we're a non-profit!) and M&M Bus Tours will be our transportation operator.
Is the bus ADA accessible?
The current charter bus we are looking at is not ADA Accessible. If you have physical accessibility needs that we may be able to accommodate, please don't hesitate to reach out (contact info below).
