FAQs from GMs

Do I need to be a member of the LGBTQIA+ community to run a game or attend?
Nope! We will be giving queer GMs priority if we run out of tables, but if there’s space, any GM can run. And playing is also open to everyone!

What kind of game can I run?

Any kind that you like! We’d love to be able to spotlight the wide variety of games designed by members of the LGBT+ community at this event, but ultimately, we want you to run a game that’s fun for you. There are still plenty of ways to tell queer stories in traditional TTRPGs like D&D and Pathfinder.

How long should the games run?

You’ll have exactly 4 hours, and then we’ll need to start breaking down the tables. We do recommend that you find a time to take a 5-10 bio break within that time slot.

How many players will I have?

That depends on how many want to sign up for your game, but all tables will be within 3-6 players. But if the game you want to run needs more or less, reach out!

Will I get paid?

Yes! A portion of ticket sales will be set aside to pay GMs. You’ll also have the option to donate your payment to the Brave Space Alliance.

Can my friend get tickets to play at my table?

Soon! We’ll have the link out to purchase tickets as soon as all our tables have a GM.
